Timothy Murphy is a civil engineer and the president and owner of Murphy Pavement Technology, Inc. (MPT) since 2002. He provides teaching, training, troubleshooting, and testifying on asphalt related projects around the world. Prior to launching his company, he was the senior resident engineer in Illinois Department of Transportation, district engineer of Asphalt Institute in Chicago, and President of Chicago Testing Laboratory and JFG technical center. He graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1984.
