W. Adam Slivers is an Associate and Project Manager at Lund Opsahl LLC, a consulting engineering firm in Seattle, Washington. He has fifteen years of experience, specializing in both new construction and renovations for health care, mixed use, office, civic, and transportation facilities. He is a member of the Sustainability Committee for The Structural Engineering Institute, where he sits on the Life Cycle Assessment working group, providing education and research in Whole Building Life Cycle Assessment. Adam is a Director for the Seattle Chapter of the Structural Engineering Association of Washington and is the outgoing chair of the association's Sustainability Committee where he focuses research and publication on lowering the carbon footprint of concrete mixes. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and is a licensed civil and structural engineer in Washington.
