is a consultant with 31 years of experience, primarily focusing in the geotechnical engineering field. He is currently President and Principal Engineer of Summit Geoengineering Services, Inc with offices in Lewiston and Rockland, Maine. Bill began designing MSE retaining walls in 1996, when most of the focus was on dry cast small block products. Since that time, he has been involved with the design, remediation, and construction of over 1 million square feet of retaining walls, including small dry cast and larger wet cast block products. Bill has also engineered multiple temporary and permanent reinforced earth slopes. Having expertise in structural and site engineering in addition to his geotechnical knowledge, Bill brings a unique perspective to design and construction of MSE and gravity segmental block wall projects. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering.
