ASCE has honored Walter Eggers, P.E., M.ASCE, with the 2025 Roebling Award for his contributions to the advancement of the art and science of construction engineering through his leadership, ingenuity, integrity, and dedication to meeting the demands of some of North America’s most challenging projects.
Eggers’ career spans over 40 years, and he has been involved in some of America’s most significant and challenging technical bridges and heavy civil construction projects. These projects encompassed a wide variety of responsibilities, including building new structures, retrofitting existing structures, and in some cases, demolishing existing structures.
