Haselton

Henry H. Haselton, P.E., PMP, F.ASCE, a geotechnical subject-matter expert and project manager on several important infrastructure projects in the City of Seattle, has been named a fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.

Haselton has worked on projects including the Elliott Bay Seawall replacement, the Seattle Reservoir Covering program, numerous CSO tunnels and tanks, drinking water pipelines, landslide mitigation, flood control facilities, and ecological restoration efforts. He has served in a key role as geotechnical lead on dozens of fish passage projects throughout the State of Washington. With a passion for innovation, he has provided leadership to bring emerging geotechnical technologies into practice in the area, using a variety of ground improvement tools to mitigate poor soils and seismic effects.

He has practiced with integrity and pragmatism in the Seattle area for 34 years, serving hundreds of clients in the public and private sectors on over 1,000 projects. His knowledge of the challenging Seattle area geology, evolving construction practices, and understanding of client's concerns and risk tolerances helps him tailor the services provided in clients’ practices.

Further, Haselton is proud to have been an ASCE member since his college days at the University of Washington, having participated in various Section committees, and to have culminated his service as the ASCE Seattle Section President.
