Andrew J. Litke, P.E., F.ASCE, a project executive with Veridus Advisors, has been named a fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.
With more than 30 years of experience in construction, engineering, and program management, Litke has led the successful delivery of healthcare, higher education, municipal, and government projects throughout the Midwest. At Veridus he helps owners navigate complex capital projects through strategic planning, risk management, and project leadership.
Litke, throughout his career, has been recognized for his ability to bring together owners, designers, contractors, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and achieve successful project outcomes. His expertise includes constructability review, value engineering, quality assurance, project controls, and the delivery of mission-critical facilities that improve the communities they serve.
Before joining Veridus Advisors, Litke held leadership positions with several prominent construction and facilities organizations, including The Hagerman Group, Medxcel Facilities Management, Wilhelm Construction, and Messer Construction. His work has supported major healthcare systems, educational institutions, and public organizations, helping deliver environments that support healing, learning, and long-term community growth.
In recognition of his project leadership, he received the 2007 DBX Project Management Award for the Marycrest Hall Renovation project and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Riley Hospital for Children for his contributions to the Riley Simon Family Tower expansion.
Litke has also made significant contributions to the engineering profession through education, mentorship, and service. His work with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Civil Exam Committee has spanned more than 15 years; there, he is helping develop and maintain the standards used to evaluate future civil engineers across the United States. He was also part of the NCEES Civil PE Exam Subcommittee, recognized with the Albert Einstein "Most Difficult Item" Award for developing the test question with the least likelihood that an examinee will answer correctly.
Litke is passionate about developing future leaders within the construction and engineering industries. He has served as a mentor through the Indiana Construction Roundtable Mentor-Protégé Program, providing guidance to emerging minority-owned firms, and has shared his expertise through training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
He also currently serves as president of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy Board of Directors and has supported numerous nonprofit and volunteer organizations throughout his career.
Litke is a registered professional engineer in Ohio and a Certified Healthcare Constructor.
