Reston, Va. — The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) today announced the beginning of its call for content for the Society’s most ambitious engineering event to date, ASCE2027: The Infrastructure and Engineering Experience, which will take place in Philadelphia, March 1-5, 2027. ASCE2027 is a multidisciplinary and cross-sector conference that brings together thought leaders from the entire infrastructure space and each of ASCE’s nine institutes to connect and collaborate at a single event.
“ASCE2027 is a groundbreaking step forward for ASCE, the joining together of all disciplines representing the civil engineering industry under one roof to share ideas and solve complex problems,” said Marsha Anderson Bomar, ASCE president. “Engineering feats are not accomplished in silos. ASCE2027 will set a new standard for shared knowledge and innovative solutions.”
Proposals should address one or more of the conference’s seven key themes:
• Autonomous and smart tech frontiers
• Engineering at the edge
• AI-driven design and cyber-resilience
• Future materials and construction methods
• Rethinking infrastructure financing and policy
• Future workforce and practice
• Deep technical dive
Big and bold is what ASCE2027 is all about. Learn more, and submit your big idea to the call for content.
