Region 10 Governor Official Nominee

Vision statement

My goal as a Region 10 Governor is to strengthen communication, collaboration, and support across all sections, recognizing the cultural and technical diversity that defines our region. Having contributed to the establishment of the Lebanon Section, supported the Notre Dame University-Louaize in obtaining its official ASCE student chapter status, and serving my second year as President of the Lebanon Section, I have seen how useful clear guidance and active involvement can be for our members. Region 10 includes countries with very different needs, constraints, and priorities. I hope to help sections share experiences more effectively, learn from one another, and feel connected despite geographic distances. My focus will be on improving the flow of information, facilitating joint initiatives, and serving as a reliable point of contact for sections that need support with events, technical workshops, or student activities. I also aim to encourage initiatives that address the specific technical challenges faced by each section, whether linked to climate change, construction practices, available resources, or regulatory, so that ASCE’s support remains relevant and practical. I will work to build a more responsive, accessible, and collaborative Region 10 that empowers every section to grow and contribute.
