Nomination Deadline: October 1
The EWRI Outstanding Service to the Environmental Council Award is designed to recognize Environmental Council members who have contributed significantly to the Council over the years.
Rules
- An ad-hoc committee of three or more members from the Environmental Council, who have no conflict of interest with any of the nominees, will be selected by the Environmental Council chair and vice-chair each year to serve on the committee.
- Recipient must be an Environmental Council and EWRI member who has been actively involved in the Council for at least 10 years and served in leadership role(s).
- Successful candidates will have served in leadership roles, demonstrated an active commitment to the Council’s mission, and encouraged newer EWRI members to join the Council and participate in its activities.
- Award is a certificate
Nominations
To nominate, submit the following:
- The Official Award Nomination form,
- a statement describing accomplishments (i.e., the nomination letter),
- a curriculum vitae and
- 1-2 letters of support from peers and leaders in addition to the nomination letter.
The complete nomination package should be submitted as one file via email to [email protected] by October 1 of each year. Nominees will remain under consideration for a period of up to three years.
