The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) supports the readiness and effectiveness of the US Navy and other supported organizations with well-designed, well-maintained, and resilient shore facilities and infrastructure.  NAVFAC ensures that naval facilities meet operational needs, comply with regulations, and promote sustainability.  NAVFAC EXWC (Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center) is a specialized division within NAVFAC responsible for providing innovative and sustainable solutions to expeditionary warfare, environmental restoration, energy efficiency, and construction processes by among other things conducting scientific research and collaborating with Navy and industry partners.
