Andrea Tavera is a Water Resources Engineer at Jacobs with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood risk assessment, watershed delineation, stream restoration, GIS analysis, site civil design, and green infrastructure planning. She supports projects focused on hydrologic analysis, hydraulic modeling, stormwater improvements, and stream restoration, contributing to technical analyses, design development, and regulatory submittals. Her work centers on advancing resilient stormwater and watershed management practices that strengthen environmental and community outcomes.
Beyond project delivery, Andrea plays an active role in technical leadership and inclusive collaboration across Jacobs. She serves as Global Co‑Lead of the Stormwater and Watershed Management Community of Practice and contributes to the Water Resources Emerging Technologists Group, helping advance innovation and knowledge sharing across the water resources discipline. She also serves as Global Co‑Lead of Enlace, Jacobs’ employee network supporting Latino and Hispanic professionals, where she helps expand mentorship, professional development, and community engagement. Through her technical expertise and leadership, Andrea continues to make meaningful contributions to the water resources field and the communities it serves.
