Bryan Dick is the president of Lotic Solutions, LLC a water resources focused engineering firm providing ecological engineering, permitting and expert witness consulting on projects across the US. He has over 17 years of experience in water resources, fluid mechanics, fluvial geomorphology, stormwater management, hydrology, hydrogeology, environmental remediation, stream and wetlands mitigation, stream restoration, and natural resource management. He was formerly at AECOM where he served as a technical practice lead of ecological engineering services for AECOM nationally.

He also currently serves as a technical expert witness for multiple river stability and watershed related cases including some of the largest superfund sites in the U.S. Mr. Dick has completed tens of thousands of feet of stream restoration and bank stabilization design/construction and several hundred miles of stream geomorphic assessments.

He holds multiple degrees including MS Civil Engineering - Applied Hydraulics and Hydrology, a BS Civil Engineering, and a BS Forest Resource Management and has completed 3 years of his PhD at North Carolina State University where his research has innovated the use of dendrogeomorphology for hindcasting and forecasting riverbank erosion rates.
