Pinn Winyoopongphun is a Project Consultant with Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), specializing in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of building enclosure systems. His work includes façade restoration, waterproofing, roofing, fenestration, forensic investigations, and new‑construction consulting, and he has led projects from early investigation and design through construction administration and closeout. He is committed to advancing façade engineering, improving building resilience, and delivering clear, practical solutions to clients.
Pinn is also an active leader in the engineering community. He serves as Vice President of the ASCE Golden Gate Branch and previously served on the board of the ASCE San Francisco Younger Member Forum, supporting technical programming, advocacy, and professional development. His service extends through volunteer work with organizations such as Head for the Cure, St. Mary’s Center, and Elizabeth House, as well as mentoring students at UC Berkeley and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At SGH, he contributes to the firm’s DEI Council and supports employee resource group and philanthropy initiatives. A licensed Professional Engineer in California, Pinn has been recognized with the 2025 ASCE Region 9 Outstanding Civil Engineer in Community Service Award and as one of the 2026 ASCE New Faces of Civil Engineering.
