Scott P. Patterson is the Vice President of Engineering for the Acrow Corporation, and has led the engineering and construction of Acrow Bridge systems world-wide since 2005. As leaders in steel panel bridge systems, the Acrow/Mabey brands have been deployed in diverse applications for the construction industry and government agencies throughout the world. Utilizing the basic truss system, Mr. Patterson has led the engineering effort for stationary, temporary, permanent, and movable bridges, as well as for straddle bents, beam bridges and shoring systems.

He received his B.S. (1971) from the University of Cincinnati and is licensed in 3 states. Prior to joining Acrow, he spent the majority of his career in the construction industry with extensive experience in engineering and managing heavy/highway construction projects. As principal of his own construction engineering firm, he provided construction engineering services to numerous contractors in the Metro NY/NJ market. Mr. Patterson served as Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, teaching construction engineering and management courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. He was heavily involved in professional societies as an officer in ASCE and NSPE at the local, state, and national level, and a recipient of the Engineer Constructor of the Year by the NJ Professional Engineers in Construction.
