Tunc Deniz Uludag, PhD, PE, M.ASCE is a Principal Structural Engineer at XTech Design Group and has extensive experience across diverse sectors, including commercial and multi-family residentials, aviation, special structures, and concrete repair investigations. Deniz earned his PhD from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where his research focused on structural dynamics and seismic energy dissipation devices. He has previously served as a teaching professor member at several universities, sharing his expertise with future engineers.
Recognized as a Face of Civil Engineering by ASCE for his contributions to the profession and society, Deniz chaired the 2025 ASCE Colorado Infrastructure Report Card, leading a team of over 50 engineers from academia, consulting, contracting, public agencies, and industry. He currently serves on the ASCE/SEI 7 Seismic Subcommittee for the 2028 cycle, is Vice Chair of the NCSEA Seismic Committee. He has participated in post-earthquake reconnaissance missions and actively shares insights with the engineering community.
