West Virginia is calling.
The 2026 ASCE Civil Engineering Student Championships are coming to Fairmont State University, June 25-27, in the lovely mountainous West Virginia countryside made famous by the John Denver song.
The annual event brings together hundreds of engineering students from ASCE student chapters around the world for a weekend of fun and competition. The championships feature the Society-wide finals of three ASCE student competitions: concrete canoe, surveying, and sustainable solutions.
Teams across the ASCE universe have been working on their projects and honing their skills all school year. They compete in their regional student symposia during the spring, and the best of the best advance to the Student Championships in the summer.
