Region 8 Governor Official Nominee

 

Vision statement

Since joining ASCE as a Student Member in 2010, this organization has shaped my journey as an engineer, a leader, and a community builder. During my first term as a Region 8 Governor, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with our Sections, Branches, Younger Member groups, Student Chapters, and volunteers across the region. These experiences reaffirmed what I’ve always believed: our strength comes from our people, and our impact grows when every member feels supported and included.

Serving on the Board of Governors strengthened my commitment to elevating member voices and ensuring Region 8 remains a strong bridge between our local groups and Society leadership. Over the last three years, I’ve focused on building relationships, improving accessibility, supporting local initiatives, and championing emerging leaders. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together.

As I seek a second term, my vision centers on advocacy, connection, and growth. I will continue representing Region 8’s needs at the Society level, strengthening collaboration across our groups, and expanding opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and community building. I will do this while upholding ASCE’s core values of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
