Region 10 Governor Official Nominee
Vision statement
As a longtime professor, administrator and consulting civil engineer in the Middle East region, I plan to make use of my multifaceted experiences in the profession, in both aspects of academia and practice, to distribute information regarding latest developments and practices to civil engineers all over the world. I will utilize the huge information capacity of the ASCE to reach out to engineers everywhere and provide the necessary topics for them to make use of in everyday practice. I plan to use the ASCE platform to start collaborations among member sections and groups and to arrange for professional lectures to be given to them by experts on the tackled subjects. I have found that the best way of doing that is to reach directly to section and group presidents and through them to civil engineers at large, and especially young ones, to serve them with their everyday requirements and support them with faced engineering challenges whether at the office or construction site. Finally, bringing civil engineers from all over the world together and making them registered members at the ASCE will be a prime focus during my service.
