Elected Region 10 Governor
Vision Statement
It would be an honour for me to serve for a second term the American Society of Civil Engineers as Region 10 Governor. From this position I will continue to advocate the civil engineering profession, including its leadership role, and help continue the growth of our Society by embracing civil engineers around the globe. I share the ASCE vision of civil engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life and believe we can enhance our work within Region10 by following ASCE’s strategic goals. Sustainability in civil engineering forms the backbone of modern project design and construction management, allowing civil engineers to ensure that each project is conducted using the safest, most environmentally friendly, and long-lasting methods available. ASCE maintains the capability to provide guidance to civil engineering communities in many countries around the world towards responsible, sustainable growth I am keen to continue to contribute within Region 10 on achieving ASCE’s Vision for Civil Engineering, on creating awareness on infrastructure needs, on following ASCE’s Sustainability Roadmap, on working toward the professional development of our members and by advocating the leadership role of the civil engineer in our Societies.
