As our elected officials and decision-makers grapple with issues like modernizing our infrastructure and improving community resilience, the next generation of civil engineers is needed to weigh in on issues mattering most to the profession and to society. ASCE is working to ensure the next Congress and Administration have the tools and information they need to make strategic investments and create sound infrastructure policy. Learn about plans for the 2021 Infrastructure Report Card and prospects for infrastructure legislation in the next Congress to help you sound informed in internship and job interviews!

- Peyton Gibson, EIT, A.M.ASCE is Associate Program Officer, Board on Infrastructure and the Constructed Environment of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine and Chair of the Colorado SCE Infrastructure Report Card.
- Hector J. Colon de La Cruz, EIT, A.M.ASCE is ASCE Puerto Rico Section President and the Chair of the Puerto Rico Infrastructure Report Card.
