ASCE Executive Director Tom Smith takes a moment to address members in his final Working For You video. Recently, Smith announced plans to retire at the end of 2025, after nearly 30 years of service to the organization, including the last 11 years in his current role.
A search for a new executive director is underway. In the meantime, ASCE Past-President Maria Lehman and ASCE’s Chief Operating Officer, Edward Stafford, will be the interim leadership team, working together to ensure a smooth transition.
