Nomination Deadline: October 1
The EWRI Early-Career Research Award is designed to recognize exceptional early achievements in research or creative activities. Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in advancing impactful research; innovation in methods or applications; commitment to continued scholarly distinction; and collaboration with peers and the broader research community.
Rules
- An ad-hoc selection committee of three or more members from EWRI Awards Committee (EAC) will be formed and chaired by the vice chair of EAC.
- The selection committee will provide a recommendation to the EAC for their approval.
- A person who has been in professional practice and/or academia for less than a total of 12 years of full-time equivalent experience and is an active member of EWRI at the time of nomination (October 1 of the year preceding the year of award).
- Nominees will only be considered for one award type (research, teaching, or professional practice) per year.
- No one shall receive an EWRI Early-Career Research Award more than once.
Nominations
To nominate, submit the following:
- The Official Award Nomination form,
- a nomination letter including a statement describing accomplishments,
- a curriculum vitae, and
- at most 3 letters of support from peers and leaders in the nominee’s field.
The complete nomination package should be submitted as one file via email to [email protected] by October 1 of each year. Nominees will remain under consideration for a period of up to three years.
