The Peers Group Award recognizes Younger Member Groups (YMGs) within each region Younger Member Council (YMC) as judged by their own YMGs who have made the most notable achievements in the past year.

Rules

  1. The evaluation process involves scoring of applications submitted by Younger Member Groups. The application will evaluate how the YMGs supported professional, technical, social, and university outreach activities during the year.
  2. The specific criteria and format for evaluating all applications are established by the CYM.
  3. The time span considered for the award activity during the ASCE fiscal year - October 1 to September 30.
  4. Awards may be presented at the awards banquet during the Younger Member Council Annual Meeting.

To nominate for this award, Younger Member Groups must submit their applications via the YMG Annual Reports Portal.
