The Australia Section was formed in 2010. They regularly hold public lectures as part of their scheduled programming for the Section.
The purpose of ASCE sections is to provide local engagement for ASCE members through meetings, guest speakers, networking, professional development at all career stages, technical content, event notices and resource information, support to ASCE Student Members and their transition to professional membership. Successful operation under the leadership of Section Officers relies on the efforts and engagement in activities by all Section members
Australia Section Networking Event
ASCE Australia Section leaders held a member networking event on November 12, 2024, featuring guest speaker Kenneth Rosenfield, P.E., ENV SP, F.ASCE, who recently completed a three-year term on the ASCE Board of Direction as the Region 9 Director and is a designated and trained ASCE Advocacy Captain. Event was hosted by R10 Past Governor Brett Clayton Phillips, Ph.D., CPEng, BC.WRE, F.EWRI, F.ASCE at Stantec in St Leonards, NSW.
