Region 10 Presidential Visit 2022

ASCE 2022 President Dennis Truax conducted a consequential international trip in September that reinforced the Society’s ties with civil engineers and students. Truax, joined by Executive Director Tom Smith, met with a number of ASCE sections and student chapters in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and reinforced affiliations with societies together from Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and several other countries.

In Cairo, Truax and Smith met with the Egypt Section and its board, as well as with student chapters from the American University in Cairo, German University in Cairo and Ain Shams University.
