Purpose and Background
ASCE 7 & The Building Codes Part I is designed for early career professionals in structural engineering and architecture and will focus on ASCE 7 content - which loads are included, how the loads work together and how ASCE 7 provisions are adopted into IBC and IRC (Building Codes). Part I consists of an overview of ASCE 7 and the building codes, a technical presentation of this subject and Q&A with industry experts.
