Infrastructure Risk Management
The Committee on Infrastructure Risk Management (CIRM) serves as an interdisciplinary committee to better provide a platform for knowledge share and research on risk management on a holistic level within ASCE.
In July 2023, ASCE’s Board of Direction approved a proposal to create a new Division under the Center for Technical Advancement (CTA) entitled Committee on Infrastructure Risk Management (CIRM).

ASCE aims to incorporate risk management in all decision-making processes that affect the public's safety, health, welfare, and investments in infrastructure. The new ASCE Community of Practice purpose is to stimulate that across the organization and profession.
