Portrait of Lucy Priddy  

T&DI Board has reappointed Lucy Priddy, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, to serve a two-year term on the FY22 Board of Governors. Dr. Priddy currently serves as a Program Officer for research programs aligned to the Army Modernization Priorities at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Prior to taking on that role, she served as an Associate Technical Director at ERDC where she assisted in the planning, technical direction, financial management, and execution of the Army research programs related to force projection, maneuver support, and force protection. Prior to this role, she conducted research focused on expedient and traditional pavement repair, evaluation, and construction technologies at ERDC and also served as liaison to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology in 2010-2011. She is the author of numerous technical articles, papers and reports and has received numerous awards for her technical contributions..

Dr. Priddy graduated from the University of Mississippi with her bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2002 and completed her master's degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2005. She completed her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2014. She has been active with ASCE serving previously in a number of branch, section, and district leadership roles including Vicksburg Branch President, Secretary of the Mississippi Section, and District 14 Representative in addition to supporting ASCE T&DI technical committees. She is also a registered as a professional engineer in Mississippi.
