2025-2026 Mentoring Program
The Mentoring and Early Career Advancement Committee of the Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) is pleased to announce the launch of its 2025–2026 Mentoring Program. This year’s program is specifically designed to support and advance the careers of tenure-track faculty. The initial phase will focus on pairing tenure-track faculty with experienced mentors who can help address the unique challenges faced during the early stages of an academic career. This initiative is part of a broader vision to expand mentoring opportunities to other members of the EMI community in future years.
Eligible members are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity to be matched with experienced mentors. This program represents a key part of EMI’s ongoing efforts to build a more supportive and equitable professional environment—one in which the next generation of engineering mechanics scholars can thrive and reach their full potential.
