Purpose:

The Transportation and Development (T&DI) Committee on Younger Members (CYM) focuses on matters of the professional development of transportation-focused civil engineers 35 years of age or younger and facilitate their engagement with, and participation in, the Society and T&DI. CYM supports all ASCE T&DI younger members, whether academic or industry focused. The committee plans and organizes younger member activities for the International Conference on Transportation and Development (ICTD), facilitates an annual student competition to foster student engagement in T&DI, advocates for more younger member resources, and works to advertise existing resources (e.g., publications, conferences, workshops, technical councils, etc.) to the younger member community.
