Computational Fluid Dynamics

Purpose:

This task committee aims to provide civil and environmental engineers guidance on when and how to use computational fluid dynamics in solving fluids-related problems in water and wastewater treatment. The committee objectives include: 1) To develop a primer on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) applications in water and wastewater treatment; 2) To promote CFD tools in the water and wastewater treatment community by disseminating the primer and organizing workshops or webinars.
