AEI Awards

AEI Outstanding Educator Award

Recognize colleagues with outstanding professional, academic, or service achievements and contributions. AEI members are encouraged to nominate a colleague for any of these awards, as applicable.

Awards are presented to the recipients each spring during the AEI Forum or AEI Conference.

Nominations for many awards are due December 15. Always review individual award rules for full details on how to nominate a deserving candidate.

Dr. Mohammad Heidarinejad is recognized for Outstanding Teaching of Building Energy and Environmental Systems, and Mentorship of Architectural Engineering Students.

AEI Committee Chair Award

This award recognizes Technical or Administrative Committee Chairs for outstanding service and contribution to AEI.

AEI Outstanding Administrative Service Award

This award is given to a member of any of the Administrative Committees (could be non-AEI member) who has provided an outstanding service and contribution to AEI through committee activities.

AEI Outstanding AE Educator Award

This award is given to a faculty in the AE programs for outstanding teaching.

AEI Technical Activities Award

This award is given to a member of any of the Technical Committees (could be non-AEI member) who has given outstanding service and contribution to AEI through Technical Committees.
