To provide a forum for civil engineers and scientists to exchange ideas within their professional community, across sub-disciplines, and with the general public regarding environmental health and water quality issues. The committee seeks to remain on the cutting edge of these issues by disseminating state-of-the-art knowledge, promoting a fundamental understanding of the nature and scope of the issues, and sharing knowledge about environmental processes and technologies to mitigate the issues.
