Environmentally Responsible Energy Production TC
Purpose:
The Hydraulic Fracturing Committee identified a gap in educational materials available to assist teachers in teaching a balanced view of the mechanism, benefits, costs, and impacts of hydraulic fracturing. Consequently, the principles and mechanics of hydraulic fracturing is not covered by the curriculum in most schools. Teachers lack the necessary educational materials and knowledge to effectively and knowledgeably teach students about hydraulic fracturing.
