River Restoration Guiding Principles Task Committee
Purpose:
There is a significant need to provide practitioners with clear guiding principles which lead to effective restoration within the context of competing economic, stakeholder, and watershed and land use constraints. This task committee will focus on developing a 10-15 page committee report, of suitable quality for potential publication in the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, containing river restoration guiding principles. Review, evaluation, and synthesis of existing literature will be used to develop the guiding principles. Additionally, the vision and experience of task committee members will be used to complete the guiding principles.
