Groundwater Activities Committee

The Groundwater Activities Committee comprises the functional areas of Symposium, Professional Development, and Communications and Outreach. The functional areas collaborate closely with each other and with the Technical Committee and Task Committees in activities that support the purpose of the Groundwater Council. The purpose of the Symposium functional area is to plan, steer, and organize groundwater sessions at annual EWRI congresses or at standalone specialty symposia. The purpose of the Professional Development functional area is to organize events, activities, and programs that provide professional development opportunities for Groundwater Council members across sectors and career stages. The purpose of the Communications and Outreach functional area is to promote Groundwater Council activities and products, share information about Groundwater Council opportunities and Groundwater Council and ASCE/EWRI Awards and nomination deadlines, and encourage Groundwater Council participation.
