Purpose:
The Mentoring Committee fosters a culture of mentorship within structural engineering by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and professional insights among engineers at all career stages, promoting growth and development through collaboration and shared learning.

MEET THE CHAIR
Daniel Bressler, P.E, M.ASCE
Daniel Bressler, P.E. is the Founder and Principal of DNB Engineering, a structural engineering firm based in New York City specializing in the design of residential, commercial, institutional, and adaptive-reuse projects. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and his M.S. in Civil Engineering from The City College of New York, becoming a licensed Professional Engineer in March 2024. Recognized as one of ASCE’s 2023 New Faces of Civil Engineering, Daniel currently serves as ASCE’s Mentoring Chair, where he promotes meaningful professional connections within the engineering community. He believes that mentoring is both a personal and professional duty, an acknowledgment of those who helped pave the way and an opportunity to support the next generation of engineers.
