MEET THE CHAIR

Eze Okechukwu, CPEng, P.E., P.Eng, R.Eng, C.Eng, M.ASCE

Dr. Eze Okechukwu I. is an accomplished energy sector professional with over a decade of experience in process safety, reliability, and integrity for Fortune 500 companies. Currently leading Asset Integrity at Escravos Oil Terminal, Dr. Eze oversees the integrity of critical infrastructure supporting Chevron Nigeria’s onshore and offshore operations. His career includes senior roles with global multinationals and joint ventures such as ExxonMobil, KBR, NETCO/AMEC (Wood Group), and TSKJ—a consortium of Technip, Snamprogetti (Saipem), KBR, and JGC.

He holds engineering and management degrees from institutions in Nigeria and the UK and maintains professional registrations in Nigeria, Ireland, Australia, and Canada. A Fellow of Engineers Ireland (FIEI) and Engineers Australia (FIEAust), Dr. Eze also holds IntPE and APEC Engineer credentials, enabling global practice. He serves as a Chartered Professional Title Reviewer and Interviewer for Engineers Ireland, bringing extensive international expertise aligned with this committee’s mission.
