Join the 2026-27 EMI Mentoring Program

The Mentoring and Early Career Advancement Committee of the Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) is pleased to announce the launch of the EMI Mentoring Program. The program is designed to support the professional development and career advancement of tenure-track faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduating Ph.D. students pursuing careers in academia.
The program will pair participants with experienced mentors who can provide guidance on navigating academic careers, professional development, and career planning. Eligible EMI members are encouraged to apply as mentees and take advantage of this opportunity to build a meaningful mentoring relationship with an experienced member of the engineering mechanics community.
