SEI members now have the opportunity to help shape the future of the Institute and the structural engineering profession through the FY27 SEI Board of Governors election.
Members will vote to fill two important leadership positions: President-elect and Governor representing SEI's Technical Community. These leaders will join the Board of Governors and help guide the Institute's strategic direction, priorities, and programs.
In the coming years, the Board will oversee several significant initiatives, including the integration of Structures Congress into ASCE 2027 and the selection of new Institute Focus Initiatives. The Board's decisions play a key role in advancing SEI's mission and supporting the structural engineering community. Eligible SEI members will receive voting instructions via email. Election materials will include candidate biographies and statements outlining each candidate's goals, priorities, and vision for SEI's future.
